PRESENTER BIO

Aaron Mansfield, M.D., is a medical oncologist with a focus on translational research in thoracic malignancies and early cancer therapeutics. His work has supported the FDA-approval of novel frontline therapies for small cell lung cancer (atezolizumab) and mesothelioma (ipilimumab and nivolumab); a MET inhibitor for non-small cell lung cancer (capmatinib) and a RET inhibitor for non-small cell lung cancer and thyroid cancers (pralsetinib). His research has focused on genomic predictors of survival with immunotherapy and is supported by an NCI R21 award, a DoD award and a Mark Foundation ASPIRE award.
