DESCRIPTION
This activity is designed for the ASU clinicians and rotating residents in order to provide and expand on appropriate knowledge and skills needed for the care of adolescents and adults at ASU Health Services. Mayo Clinic faculty and staff are invited to attend these sessions. This course covers topics in Women's Health, Primary Care, Sports Medicine, Urgent Care, and Adolescent Medicine as these are sections represented in the ASU clinic.

 
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended primarily for Women's Health, Primary Care, Sports Medicine, Urgent Care, and Adolescent Medicine physicians and allied health staff. In attendance will be M.D., D.O., N.P. and other allied health personnel.
 
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to: 

1. Identify which patients meet criteria for asthma screening
2. Differentiate acute respiratory illness with wheezing from chronic asthma
3. Describe antibiotic prescription recommendations aligning with current established criteria
