DESCRIPTION
The diagnosis and management of urologic diseases have been dramatically influenced by the recent medical, surgical, and technological advances. One of the greatest challenges for the practicing urologist is to stay current. Urology Grand Rounds is designed to give each Mayo Urology Consultant and Resident the opportunity to provide an updated presentation on: localized or advanced prostate cancer, sexual dysfunction, bladder cancer, renal cancer, urinary incontinence, genito-urinary trauma and benign prostate hypertrophy. Case-Based management additionally gives physicians on opportunity to discuss difficult cases amongst their peers to improve patient care and outcomes. Morbidity and Mortality is designed to systematically review patient events, and quality of medical and surgical decision-making.
