Grand Rounds are the highest scholarly and academic activity in our department. Presentations are focused on research, reviews, and innovative ideas in both psychiatry and psychology. Speakers possess a national reputation or are active participants in critical clinical, research, and educational endeavors that we have a Mayo or we wish to develop.

TARGET AUDIENCE
The target audience is multidisciplinary consisting of physicians, psychologists, psychiatry and psychology trainees, advanced practice providers, mid-level health care providers, psychiatric nursing staff, social workers, and allied health providers.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Recognize current inequities and barriers to mental health care, causes for these and potential solutions.
- Identify current best practices to develop an inclusive learning and health care environment.

State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science maintains responsibility for this course. Social workers completing this course will receive 1.00 continuing education credits.
