DESCRIPTION
The Florida DLMP Pathology Department is interested in submitting the Pathology Journal Club Conference for CME approval. It is a conference that takes place on the second Friday of every month where pathologists review peer-reviewed articles as well as new research articles for new developments in subdivisions within pathology (example: New development of breast cancer ancillary tests, treatments, and diagnostic criteria to breast cancer). 

TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended primarily for Physicians and Resident Fellows.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to: 

  1. Apply new advances in the practice of pathology to their daily clinical work.
  2. Have an understanding in the recent technologic, molecular, digital and other developments in pathology.
  3. Identify new developments and further pathology knowledge, to include but not limited to diagnosing challenging and newly described entities, pertinent treatment plans, diagnostic pitfalls and criteria, in the various subspecialties of pathology.
