• • Describe the current landscape of substance use disorder prevalence, treatment access, and barriers to implementing SBIRT in clinical practice.

  • Differentiate key components of Recovery Capital (social, human, cultural, and physical) and apply these concepts to support patients in achieving and maintaining recovery.

  • Recognize and reconsider stigmatizing language during patient interactions to enhance engagement and trust.
