Presentation Title: Reimagining Polycystic Kidney Disease: AI Applications, Biomarker Discovery, and Novel Therapies

Speaker: Fouad Chebib, MD

Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

Define the limitations of traditional biomarkers in ADPKD and the clinical need for improved risk stratification and earlier prediction of disease progression.
•Describe how artificial intelligence and radiomics are being applied to extract multiparametric imaging features that improve prognostication and enable precision phenotyping in ADPKD.
•Identify emerging biomarkers and candidate surrogate endpoints—including cyst index, CPSA, and radiomic signatures—that hold potential to refine clinical trial design and enhance therapeutic targeting.
•Evaluate novel therapeutic strategies beyond vasopressin antagonism, including genotype-specific interventions and pathway-targeted therapies informed by biomarker discovery.
