• Differentiate between percent predicted and Z-score approaches to PFT interpretation, including their relative advantages in different clinical scenarios.
• Evaluate the implications of removing race from pulmonary function reference equations.
• Select suitable ancillary testing modalities for specific clinical presentations when standard PFT results are inconclusive.
