Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Summarize the clinical evidence supporting the use of peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS) in managing various types of acute and chronic pain.
  2. Evaluate the methodological quality and limitations of studies on PNS.
  3. Identify the potential clinical application and limitations of PNS in pain management.
  4. Summarize consensus recommendation for PRP use in patients with infectious, oncologic, and hematologic comorbidities.
  5. Identify clinical scenarios where PRP is appropriate, contraindicated, or requires specialist input.
  6. Examine the evidence gaps and role of expert consensus in guiding PRP decision-making.
