Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify and understand the different mechanisms of action of the most common thrombectomy devices used for the treatment of acute ischemic stroke
 - Summarize the mechanisms of failure, no recanalization, or generation of distal emboli and how to address these issues and minimize them
 - List several rescue techniques in case of failure of first-line methods and apply them in a comprehensive manner
