Advanced Critical Care Nursing Online CNE Course: Sepsis

Sepsis is something you’ll see regularly as a nurse in the critical care environment. Its incidence is increasing, and these patients are presenting to the ICU more and more sick. Early recognition and treatment of sepsis is key to saving tissue – and lives. We’ll dive into what’s driving up the incidence of sepsis, determine how sepsis and septic shock work, identify the difference between the two, and learn the evidence-based interventions for treating these patients.
