Learning objectives: 
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

• Demonstrate the relationship between seizure control and its impact on cognition, daily functioning, and mortality in persons with dementia.
• Examine the neuropathological markers associated with the degree of seizure control in individuals with dementia.
• Identify risk factors linked to the development of epilepsy in persons with dementia.
• Describe the unique neuro-imaging morphological features associated with epilepsy in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and non-AD dementias.
