Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this activity participants should be able to: 

  • Connect how defects in lipoprotein metabolism correlate to dyslipoproteinemias.

  • Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of automated lipid panels.

  • How the biochemical and electrophoretic evaluation of fractioned lipoproteins provides insight into the etiology of cholesterol and/or triglyceride elevation.
