2. Describe the basics of LVAD patient management
3. Recognize the challenges of living with an LVAD

Bio:

Joined Mayo Clinic when the hospital opened in 1998 as Operating Room Supervisor. Completed Masters in Cardiovascular Science in 2005 and worked as a Perfusionist for seven years before accepting current position as Cardiac Device Specialist.
