Bio:
Dr. Carter Neugarten is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Physician Lead for Palliative Emergency Care at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. Dr. Neugarten is an Emergency Medicine and Hospice & Palliative Medicine Physician with years of experience and significant clinical interest in the integration of both fields to enhance patient care and outcomes for those living with serious illness and life-limiting illnesses. Dr. Neugarten serves as a leader in the field with a significant contribution to research and education in this subspecialty fusion.
Ryan Baldeo is an Assistant Professor of Palliative Medicine and Palliative Medicine Physician Assistant at Mayo Clinic Arizona. He is also the clinician lead for the Emergency Palliative Medicine services here at MCA. In addition to his Master’s in PA studies, he also has a Master of Science in Leadership & Administration in Palliative Care and is a Doctoral Candidate for his PhD in Palliative Care. He has strong interest in clinical practice, research, and education in the field of palliative care, emergency palliative care, and the interdisciplinary role of physician assistants in the field.
