DESCRIPTION
This course will be in person or via TEAMS lectures focusing on Neurological Surgical care and treatment plans to help further the education for the Advanced Practice Providers.

Live-Streamed; Monthly on Wednesday from 7:00-8:00 a.m.

TARGET AUDIENCE
The target audience is Mayo Clinic Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Resident Fellows, and Students. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Demonstrate knowledge on Neurosurgery procedures, imaging, and patient populations by a decrease in unnecessary testing being performed or duplicate testing being performed.
  • Formulate treatment plans for Neurosurgery patient types including cranial and spine patients and these disease processes associated with each.
