• Define ICU EEG terminology and the ictal-interictal continuum (“IIC”) 

• Review EEG patterns that warrant long term EEG monitoring/empiric treatment  

• Discuss the diagnosis of NCSE  

• Discuss approaches to management of the “IIC” and NCSE
