Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Develop an approach to diagnosing RCTDs based on pattern recognition and supporting clinical and laboratory data
  • Recognize the clinical features of SLE in children
  • Recognize the approach to assess disease activity and administer proportionate therapy
  • Identify that even with control of disease activity, there are significant health risks for patients with SLE
