The 12th Annual Heart Rhythm & ECG Course concentrates on general ECG understanding, guidelines on atrial fibrillation (A-fib) and CHF management. Course topics include, recent advances in A-fib management, interventional procedures and their indications, evolving stroke risk score, and indications of advanced ablation techniques for ventricular tachycardia. This course allows health care professionals to update their medical knowledge, enhance clinical skills, and support professional development through a dynamic curriculum. Attendees realize important advances in the medical field while addressing desired educational needs and current practice gaps. Through didactic lectures, case-study presentations, and audience interaction, this course strives to develop and promote continuing education with the ultimate goal of enhancing patient care.
Target Audience
This course is intended for general internists, hospitalists, family practitioners, and allied health staff participating in cardiac services.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify an ECG finding that leads to appropriate recognition or therapy
- Summarize ECG findings that alter clinical management

- A charge of $30.00 per person, per night will be added to the folio for each guest over double occupancy. There will be no charge for children up to and including the age of 18 years who share the room with their parents. Maximum occupancy per room: four (4).
- A daily resort service charge of $42.00 is optional. Individual group guests will have the opportunity to select to receive bundle of added values and will not automatically be charged a daily resort fee. Should group guests wish to elect a daily resort fee they will receive amenities such as:
- Unlimited local, domestic, long-distance (contiguous 48 states) and 1-800 access calls from your guest room
- $25 Well & Being credit toward a body or facial treatment per paid night, valid once per day. Spa treatments receive access to Well & Being Spa amenities for the day, including: co-ed waterfall treatment pool, sauna, steam room, aromatherapy lounge, private rooftop pool and more (credit not cumulative and valid once per day)
- On-site transportation service (guest rooms, restaurants, spa, pools, and meeting spaces)
- Shuttle transportation service to and from Toro Latin Restaurant & Rum Bar, TPC Scottsdale and Grayhawk golf courses
- Courtesy fishing pole rental for Lagoon fishing
- Preferred TPC Scottsdale rates and tee times
- Business services offered at front desk (printing, photocopying, and faxing of documents for guest individual and personal use)
- Electric vehicle charging stations, based on availability
- Infused water stations available in the lobby. Fruit and specialty lemonade available from 3 to 6pm. Coffee available in the lobby from 2am to 6am. Boxed water available all day.
- Jogger station for individual guest: (2) water bottles, towels and running trail map available between 6 and 9am at Guest Services
- Bicycles: Cruising bikes are available 7am to 5pm on a first-come, first-served basis, for one-hour usage, daily, based on availability
- Overnight shoeshine (one pair per room per night)
- Luggage storage for up to 12 hours (gratuity not included)
- Item purchase delivery from Fairmont Floral, Well & Being Spa, Well & Being Spa Lifestyle Boutique, Maverick, Anna J, Provisions and Reflections to your guest room (up to five rooms)
