Anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress are common, costly, yet very treatable conditions. While evidence-based treatments exist, multiple barriers to accessing these interventions are apparent. As technology continues to advance, so has our ability to deliver mental health interventions in the digital age. The use of technology can be leveraged to reduce barriers to care and enhance our treatment outcomes. Significant opportunities and alarming pitfalls coexist in the translation of mental health service delivery to apps and platform therapies.
