1) Explain the historical viewpoint of men and women in clinical research design and its consequences on our current understanding of medicine and health
2) Recognize the growing impact of sex and gender-based research in the clinical practice of emergency medicine
3) Gain access to key tools necessary to be a successful physician and educator that takes into account important biological and sociocultural variables.
