- Identify unique issues in end of life care encountered by transgender patients
- Recognize barriers to patient centered care for transgender patients at end of life
- Summarize opportunities for growth in transgender end of life care through a case based discussion
Bio:
Attended University of South Carolina for undergraduate degree. Attended St. George’s University School of Medicine for medical school. Completed Family Medicine residency with Creighton University School of Medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Completed Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
