Mayo Clinic’s Contribution to Lewy Body Dementia Research: 25 Years and Counting
Tanis Ferman, Ph.D.
Dr. Ferman is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology at Mayo Clinic Florida. She earned her PhD from the University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School, her internship at the University of Chicago, and her fellowship in Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. From there, she took a position at the Mayo Clinic Florida. She is a Clinical Neuropsychologist and an active researcher, leader, and collaborator in the Mayo Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center with a primary focus on Lewy body dementia. Dr. Ferman is going to discuss work from the last 25 years on Lewy body dementia that has been carried out at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville and Rochester.
