TITLE:  Jehovah's Witness Resuscitation

OVERVIEW:  The goal is to equip the medical community to bridge any gap between them and Jehovah’s Witnesses. The speakers will outline a multimodality and multidisciplinary approach to treating Jehovah’s Witnesses. This will entail collaboration between Witness patients and clinicians, clinicians with other clinicians and hospital administration, and all parties with the hospital Liaison Committee.

1) Define Jehovah's witnesses position regarding medical treatment and specifically their views regarding the use of blood

2) Discuss strategies that can be employed by medical professionals in treating patients who are Jehovah's Witnesses

3) Describe the importance of the HLC Network and the tools they have available to assist those in the medical community
