Dr. Ram Subramanian is Professor of Medicine and Surgery at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. He is the Medical Director of Liver Transplantation, and Director of Liver Critical Care Services at Emory University. His fellowship training involved combined training in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine and Gastroenterology & Transplant Hepatology, with a goal to focus his clinical and research interests in the field of hepatic critical care and inpatient hepatology. Over the course of his academic career as a hepatologist and intensivist, he has developed a specific clinical and research expertise in extracorporeal liver support and hepatic critical care. In addition, he has completed an MBA, with a goal to apply this knowledge to healthcare delivery and administration.
