Summary: 

As PGNMID is a relatively new diagnosis, ongoing clinical trials are likely to shape the landscape of treatment for a condition largely guided by expert consensus. We will review current clinical trials that have preliminary results.

Objectives:

At the conclusion of this activity, the learner should be able to:

  • Recognize clinical signs and suggestive diagnostic features of MGRS/PGNMID
  • Recall current guidelines for treatment of PGNMID
  • Examine clinical trials exploring new treatment options for PGNMID

Bio:

Puneet Raman is a second year Internal Medicine resident who graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix. He is interested in pursuing fellowship in hematology/oncology and would love to stay in his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona. When he’s not busy with residency and preparing for fellowship, he most enjoys spending time with his dog, a 3 year old Siberian Husky/German Shepherd rescue named Cosmo.
