Learning Objectives:
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize the pattern of common and uncommon, but serious neurological injuries that have been associated with opioid exposure
  • Recognize when fentanyl exposure can & cannot lead to opioid toxicity
  • Summarize recent trends in synthetic opioid overdose in the United States
