Objectives:

  1. Identify how ultrasound can be useful in carpal tunnel syndrome
  2. Recognize the differences in electrodiagnostic studies versus ultrasound in evaluation of carpal tunnel syndrome
  3. Summarize the pitfalls of electrodiagnostic studies versus ultrasound in evaluation of carpal tunnel syndrome
  4. Assess Jiu-Jitsu related injury rate and pattern
  5. Identify associations between Jiu-Jitsu related injuries and associations with experience level, demographic factors and training variables
  6. Summarize factors important in injury prevention
