LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Define central sensitization and describe its relevance to many commonly encountered medical conditions
  • Describe several of the pathophysiological changes associated with central sensitization
  • Identify several commonly encountered medical conditions that are associated with central sensitization
  • Describe the benefits of utilizing the ASSIST modules for patients with central sensitization-based conditions
