Upon conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

• Summarize pathogenesis of cervical spondylotic myelopathy(CSM)
• Recognize signs and symptoms of myelopathy
• Describe prevalence of symptomatic and asymptomatic cervical spinal canal stenosis
• Describe natural history of CSM
• Recognize risk factors for progression
• Recognize when it may be time to operative
• Recognize when it may be time to leave it alone
