DESCRIPTION
Successful treatment of neurovascular and skull base diseases requires a detailed understanding of the natural history, anatomy and surgical options for management.  This course will aim to 1) educate on and review complex neurovascular and skull base anatomy of neurovascular and skull base diseases 2) review recent and upcoming neurovascular and skull base cases 3) review known literature and established knowledge with regards to surgical approaches 4) utilize novel visualization techniques to better understand surgical anatomy of  the pathologies in review

TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended primarily for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and nurse practitioners.  

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe pertinent literature to provide knowledge with regards to surgical approaches and techniques
  • Analyze cases for surgical anatomy of the pathologies in review.
  • Report on the human anatomy and surgical options for management.
