DESCRIPTION
We hold a monthly virtual meeting that focuses on two relevant clinical cases and reviews one recent, significant study in the field. This meeting is designed for physicians and advanced practice providers who assess patients within the pulmonary and critical care departments of the Mayo Clinic Health System. By incorporating a rural perspective, these discussions foster an exchange of experiences among medical professionals practicing in rural areas, enhancing collaborative learning and sharing.

Live-Streamed; Monthly on the 3rd Tuesday from 12:00-1:00 p.m.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Nurse practitioners, physicians, and physician assistants. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Summarize the latest evidence-based guidelines for managing common pulmonary conditions.
  • Analyze clinical cases to highlight key teaching point.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools in the assessment of pulmonary diseases.
  • Apply evidence-based strategies for improved patient outcomes.
