DESCRIPTION
A  series of M&Ms on the FL campus, that happens 6 times per month. Each instance covers specific ICU cases:  ECMO M&M - Monthly, 1st Tuesdays; MICU M&M - Monthly, every 4th Thursday; SICU M&M - Monthly, 1st Fridays;  CVTx M&M - Monthly, 2nd Fridays; TxCCS M&M – Monthly, 3rd Fridays; NeuroICU M&M – Monthly, 4th Fridays


TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended for critical care staff, residents, fellows, and allied health staff that work in the critical care setting.  


LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Implement a blame-free culture of patient safety that encourages team work and communication among all Mayo staff.
  • Analyze medical errors using a systems based approach.
  • Determine the strength of error reduction strategies
