DESCRIPTION
Internal and external speakers present on various topics related to Gastroenterology and Hepatology. The conference type rotates between grand rounds, case conference, journal club, research conference, GI-Surgery, and Journal Club.
This series meets weekly on Tuesday from 12-1pm.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended primarily for physicians, physician assistants, resident fellows, and nurse practitioners within the department of family medicine.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify the latest developments in the science and practice of gastroenterology and hepatology.
- Review literature pertinent to, and management of, challenging cases in GI and hepatology.
- Summarize the latest medical literature in a scientific forum by applying an evidence-based approach
