DESCRIPTION
Conferences take place on Thursday mornings at 7:00 am-8:00 a.m. at MCH and MCB. Exceptions will be noted in the weekly notification.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is open for members of other divisions i.e. vascular surgery, Neurology, etc.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Associate current advancement in the field of cardiovascular medicine with current practices.
  • Recall new changes in the science of cardiovascular medicine.
  • Compare cost effectiveness of new recommendations or procedures in care for cardiology patients.

MAINTENANCE OF CERTIFICATION
ABIM

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 1.00 medical knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

Participation information will be shared with ABIM through PARS.
