Tuberculosis (TB) in pregnancy poses serious risks to both mother and fetus if not promptly diagnosed and managed. This webinar covers key aspects of TB diagnosis, treatment, and complications during pregnancy. Participants will also be introduced to the TB Pregnancy Toolkit and other resources to support effective care for pregnant patients.

Target Audience

This course is designed for allied health professionals, nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, physician assistants, pharmacists, residents/fellows, and healthcare professionals working in a public healthcare setting.

Learning Objectives


Upon Completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Describe key considerations for diagnosing and managing tuberculosis during pregnancy.
  • Identify potential complications of TB in pregnant patients and appropriate treatment strategies.
  • Utilize the TB Pregnancy Toolkit and other resources to support comprehensive care for pregnant individuals with TB.
