LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe initiation of therapy for a newly diagnosed patient with RLS, including the role of iron supplementation
  • Discuss therapeutic approaches for a patient with refractory restless legs, including use of opioids
  • Determine optimal therapy for patients with chronic insomnia, including cognitive behavioral therapy and medications
