PRESENTER BIO
Shadia I. Jalal, M.D., is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Program Leader of Thoracic Oncology at Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center. I am also the Lawrence H. Einhorn Scholar in Oncology. Her main clinical and research practice focuses on esophageal cancer. I have multiple investigator-initiated trials in esophageal cancer and in lung cancer. She leads and co-chairs the VA lung and esophageal pathways committee and serves as a consultant for the VA National Oncology Program.
