Session date:
11/10/2022 - 12:00pm to 1:00pm
Schwartz Rounds are multidisciplinary forums where caregivers foster compassion for themselves and others. Panelists from diverse disciplines will share on the topic "My Why: Why I chose my vocation? What keeps me renewed and returning?". The idea behind the sessions is that caregivers experience compassion as they connect, share personal experiences, process feelings and listen to their colleagues’ experiences. After listening to the panelists, participants will be invited to share their own perspectives in an open conversation.
The panelists will be:
  • Dennis Costakos, MD, Neonatologist Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine
  • Vincent Loera, M.S.W., APSW, Social Worker
  • Rachel Bishop, BSN, R.N., O.C.N., MGR Nursing, Hematology & Oncology
