Objectives:

  1. Define scalp dysesthesia
  2. Describe the most common imaging findings in these patients
  3. Summarize what the authors hypothesize may be the cause of scalp dysesthesia
  4. Review general application of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation in the context of stroke recovery
  5. Describe the interhemispheric inhibition model in stroke
  6. Evaluate the efficacy of rTMS as an augmentation of therapy in post-stroke recovery
