Dante D. King, M.Ed.
INTRODUCTION
Dante D. King, M.Ed. is a native of San Francisco, California. He is an author of the new award-winning book The 400-Year Holocaust: White America’s Legal, Psychopathic, and Sociopathic Black Genocide and the Revolt Against Critical Race Theory. Dante is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medical Education in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. He serves as guest faculty at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine, where he has lectured for more than three years. Dante’s continued research interests include examinations of race, racism, and legality throughout pre-and-post colonial America, and their impacts on American culture and identity.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Explore the historical, legal, academic, and scientific foundations of structural racism and anti-blackness in America.
- Understand anti-black racism as psychosocial, psycho-political, and psycho-economic cultural and organizational properties.
- Identify the modern-day impacts of legalized anti-blackness and white supremacy in American culture and institutions.
