"Natural History of Autoimmune Encephalitis: Long-term Outcomes and Treatment Considerations"

Learning objectives: 
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Assess the natural history of common antibody-mediated autoimmune encephalitis
  • Identify factors associated with long-term outcomes in autoimmune encephalitis
  • Evaluate factors associated with phenotypic variability in autoantibody-associated neurological autoimmunity
  • Evaluate potential biomarkers and treatment strategies

Dr. Paramasivan does have the following relevant financial relationships to disclose: Grant/Research - UCB and he does intend to discuss the following off-label/investigative use of Pharmaceuticals or Instruments: Off-label use of immunotherapy for management of autoimmune encephalitis will be discussed.
