• Provide an evidence-based approach to neuro-prognostication in critically ill patients, with a focus on post-cardiac arrest care, and hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy.
• Review current guidelines
• Discuss multimodal assessment strategies
• Discuss limitations of prognostic tools
• Summarize possible future tools for neuro-prognostication
