Title: Heart Attack or Heartburn? The Evaluation of Chest Pain from a Cardiologist's Perspective

Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Review the causes of chest pain
  • Explore diagnostic strategies for acute and stable chest pain syndromes
  • Review recent guidelines
  • Identify strengths and weaknesses of each approach
  • Recognize complementary nature of tests

Description:
This one hour session will highlight the importance of health equity from a national and healthcare organizational perspective.   Barriers to achieving health equity for patients will be explored including Mayo Clinic’s journey to advance health equity.  In addition, identifying a framework and strategies to drive health equity efforts including staff, patient, and community engagement.
