The Mayo Post Acute Care Conference is specifically designed for Mayo Midwest hospital care team members who actively participate in the Mayo Post Acute Care program. This conference features leadership messages and patient stories, showcasing the program’s achievements. Additionally, it provides educational content tailored for providers (including MDs, NPs, PAs, RNs, PTs, OTs, and social workers), addressing common clinical and administrative/process challenges encountered while working in transitional care units.
Target Audience
This course is designed for allied health professionals, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, physicians, residents, fellows, and social workers.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Analyze the range of artificial intelligence tools available at Mayo Clinic and develop effective prompting strategies to optimize outcomes.
- Identify rural health challenges and solutions to improve care of post-acute care patients at Critical Access hospitals.
- Review current rehab techniques for flap surgery.
- Improve communication to lead change.
