The Mayo Lymphatic Disorders Symposium will offer educational sessions from diagnosis through treatment. A faculty of national and international speakers will review cutting edge lymphatic imaging and diagnostics, explore pharmacologic therapeutic options, and share updates on current surgical techniques. Hands-on and didactive educational opportunities will include physical examination, compression management, manual therapies, and other physical and imaging modalities. Participants will have an opportunity for collaborative networking.

Target Audience
This course is designed for physical and occupational therapists, certified lymphedema therapists, podiatrists, nutritionists, and medical providers including physicians (Osteopathic and Allopathic), residents, fellows, advanced practice nurses, and physician assistants in the specialities of plastic and reconstructive surgery, vascular medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, breast surgery, radiology, and other healthcare professionals committed to diagnosing and treating lymphedema.

Travel
Rochester, Minnesota is serviced by the Rochester International Airport (RST) with multiple flights and connections daily. Access to and from the airport is provided by taxi, shuttle service, and rental car. The airport is located approximately 10 miles south from the Mayo Clinic campus.
Note to Travelers: Several cities in the United States are named Rochester. When you make airline reservations and check your baggage, be sure that your destination is Rochester, Minnesota (RST) and that your baggage has been properly tagged.
Flying through the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) is another option. There are two shuttle services that provide direct service to Mayo Clinic and the surrounding area. MSP is located approximately 80 miles north of Rochester with a drive time of approximately 90 minutes.
