This conference is designed to provide an opportunity for simulation educators and enthusiasts from clinical and academic settings to connect with colleagues from various professions and roles to share, learn, and grow in areas of simulation-based education, research, innovation, and technology. Grounded in evidence-based best-practices, this conference is a platform for simulation novices to experts to gain and disseminate knowledge and skills from a basic overview to new directions in healthcare simulation.
As part of the Mayo Clinic Healthcare Simulation Conference 2026, all educators and providers involved in simulation education, technology & innovation, simulation operations & management, simulation research, and simulated/standardized patients are invited to submit an abstract for presentation of original research. Projects can be clinical or laboratory based. Abstracts should be 4000 words or less and may include one figure or table.

This conference is designed for nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists in simulation education, operations and technical specialties, standardized patient program coordinators, administrators, researchers and innovators from all healthcare professionals including clinical and academic settings.
