This course focuses on case-based and didactic presentations from Mayo Clinic and other international experts in the treatment of the whole spectrum of gastrointestinal (GI) cancers, including esophageal, gastric, hepatocellular, bile duct, pancreatic, small bowel, anal, colorectal, and neuroendocrine.
The primary goal of this course is to guide practicing physicians on integrating the best and most current evidence into day-to-day routine care for patients with GI cancers. This course brings a practical perspective on how to optimize multidisciplinary care for some of the more complex clinical management decisions. Topics discussed include locoregional modalities, the role of minimally invasive procedures, and state-of-the-art radiation modalities.

Target Audience
This course is designed for medical, radiation and surgical oncologists; gastroenterology surgeons, gastroenterologists and hepatologists involved in cancer care; interventional radiologists; pharmacists; nurse practitioners; physician assistants; and nurses. Other healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients diagnosed with GI malignancies may benefit from this program.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Analyze expanding clinical applications of radiopharmaceutical therapies in the treatment of neuroendocrine tumors (NETs).
- Describe the first-line treatment options for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
- Summarize the current guidelines for the diagnosis of early-stage colorectal cancers.
- Recognize the latest advancements in surgical techniques for the treatment of pancreatic cancer.
- Describe the role of immunotherapy in the perioperative treatment of patients with MSI-H disease.
- Describe the role of KRAS targeted therapies in patients with mCRC and other GI malignancies.

* Preferred golf tee-times at Monarch Beach Golf Links, including shuttle service and golf bag storage on an individual
guest request basis (not applicable to group transfers)
* Participation in the resort’s daily scheduled Eco-Adventure Center Garden Tour
All travel and lodging expenses are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant.
