Legends of Endourology: A Festschrift Honoring James Lingeman, MD is a one-day educational event celebrating Dr. Lingeman’s transformative contributions to endourology. Held following WCET 2025 in Phoenix, the program brings together global leaders to highlight advancements in nephrolithiasis and benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) evaluation, management, treatment combined with groundbreaking research. Hosted by Mayo Clinic School of Continuous Professional Development and Indiana University School of Medicine, the event features expert-led lectures, panels, and interactive sessions. It aims to foster knowledge exchange, honor innovation, and inspire future generations. A special edition of the Journal of Endourology will publish key unique content generated just for this event, extending the educational impact. A one-day event of lectures from urologists honoring the retirement of a legend in urology. All lectures will be based on a published special issue in the Journal of Endourology as a Festschrift that will be unveiled at the meeting. All manuscripts will be original, and peer reviewed prior to the event. The education will not be repurposed.

This is a one-day event for Urologists.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Assess the latest techniques in minimally invasive endourology.
  • Identify insights into effective stone management strategies.
  • Assess future trends in the field to stay ahead of the curve.
