• Describe how necrotizing soft tissue infections (NSTI) are diagnosed and name the common microbiologic causes

• Demonstrate an understanding of the role secreted toxins play in the pathogenesis of NSTI

• Apply optimal antibiotic management in cases of suspected NSTI
